From first ideas to final artwork.Every Renee Papery suite is completely bespoke — thoughtfully tailored to your story, atmosphere, and the feeling you want your celebration to hold.
1. Getting To Know Your Celebration
Everything begins with a conversation. After your enquiry, we’ll chat through your plans, venue, and overall vision for the day. Following this, a tailored proposal outlining the recommended scope, estimated investment, timeline, and available project slot for your suite will be shared with you.
2. Shaping The Creative Direction
From there, we begin shaping the world of your suite together — exploring early concepts, layouts, illustration ideas, and personal details that help the stationery feel reflective of your celebration. Final artwork then begins once the overall direction feels just right to you both.
3. Hand-Painted Artwork
Your stationery is then illustrated and painted by hand, with each piece created exclusively for your celebration.
4. Refining The Details
Once the artwork is complete, everything is carefully refined with wording, layouts, typography, calligraphy, and finishing touches to bring the full suite together.
5. Ready To Be Revealed, Shared & Celebrated
Depending on your location and preferences, your suite can be professionally printed and assembled, supplied as print-ready artwork for local printing, or adapted into digital stationery for online sharing — through to the celebration itself.
Timeline
Most bespoke suites take around 4–6 weeks depending on the scope of the project and production requirements.
I take on a limited number of commissions each season to keep the work thoughtful, personal, and creatively inspired. Enquiring early often allows for greater flexibility with timings and availability.
